«Champagne Gala Dinner» will be a festive multicourse dinner and a celebration of Champagne! The multi course dinner will be accompanied by champagnes and stories of Champagne house owners and Peter Liem (champagneguide.net), Louis Roederer award recipient and one of the world’s greatest authorities on champagne.
But that’s not all - in addition to great champagnes provided by the house owners, we are kindly asking the guests to bring their own special bottles to be shared and enjoyed among the attending champagne lovers! A feast indeed!
Last year's attending winemakers were Jean - Herve Chiquet (Jacquesson), Charles Philipponnat (Philipponnat), Michel Drappier (Drappier) presenting spectacular champagnes from their houses, while the second half of the evening saw an amazing collection of guests's champagnes, including, for example, Drappier Carte d`Or Brut 1979, Philipponnat Grand Blanc Brut 1983, Krug 1985, Duval Leroy Cuvee Des Roys 1986 MAGNUM, Noble Cuvee de Lanson Brut 1988, Drappier Carte d`Or Brut 1990 JEROBOAM, Pol Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 1990, Drappier Carte d`Or Brut 1995 MAGNUM, Bollinger Grande Annee 1996 JEROBOAM, Henriot Cuvee des Enchanteleurs Brut 1998, Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 1999, Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 2000, Jacquesson AY-Vauzelle Terme 2002, Dom Perignon 2004 MAGNUM, Jacques Selosse Brut Rose, Jerome Prevost La Closerie Les Beguines Extra Brut, Cedric Bouchard Roses de Jeanne Blanc de Noirs and others.
